Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Unified (the "Service"), operated by Autumn Wind Ltd. ("Unified", "we", "us", "our"), a company based in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Unified takes a video or audio file (or a link to one) you upload and produces: a transcript, a set of candidate short-form clips, a written text pack (social posts), and rendered vertical/square/horizontal video clips with burned-in captions. Some processing steps rely on third-party providers (transcription, AI analysis, and video rendering) — see our Privacy Policy for details on how your content moves through those providers.

2. Your account

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your content

You retain all ownership rights to the video, audio, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transform Your Content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. sending it to our transcription and rendering providers). We don't use Your Content to train AI models, and we don't claim any ownership over it or the clips/copy generated from it.

You're solely responsible for having the rights necessary to upload and process Your Content. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to use, or anything illegal, infringing, or that violates someone else's privacy or publicity rights.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at signup) through our payment processor, Stripe. Plans include a monthly allotment of videos and a per-video length cap, as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you'll retain access until then.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to: violate any law; upload content you don't have rights to; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; or resell/redistribute the Service itself without our written permission.

6. Service availability

We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autumn Wind Ltd. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you (e.g. by email or a notice on the Service). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
